Tradco evolved out of necessity; up until the early 1980s, fittings to suit the designs of early Australian homes and furniture were scarce. Renovators had to rely on a rapidly diminishing source of recycled original pieces. Graham and Denise recognised this gap in the market for good reproduction fittings.

Tradco began as a humble 'backyard operation' in 1982 and evolved into the Tradco of today, which offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of architectural hardware in Australaisia.
